The Tiffany Collection
Inspired by a lifelong fascination with Tiffany glass, this collection brings together seventeen hand-drawn studies of lamps and lighting designed by Louis Comfort Tiffany and Tiffany Studios during the height of the Art Nouveau movement. Created between the 1890s and early 1900s, these works transformed electric lighting into sculpture through richly colored leaded glass, botanical forms, and meticulous craftsmanship. Many of the original designs celebrated nature, featuring dragonflies, wisteria, peonies, dogwoods, and other organic motifs that became hallmarks of Tiffany's work.
Every lamp in this collection is one I've had the opportunity to experience in person alongside my fiancé, Andy, at places including the Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art, Richard H. Driehaus Museum, and the Gilded Age mansions of Newport. Working from my own photographs, I recreated each piece by hand on my iPad as both a personal tribute to these remarkable works of decorative art and, originally, as custom table numbers for our stained glass themed wedding.
